ABOUT ME
Noah Canlas

I’m Noah, a content creator passionate about capturing stories and connecting people through visuals. A graduate of Alma College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing, I’ve combined my academic background with my self-taught skills in photography, graphic design, and cinematography to carve out a creative path in the sports industry. Currently, I work with Forward Madison FC in the Marketing Department, where I get to blend my love for sports with my passion for storytelling.
My journey began in 2015 with a GoPro and a desire to capture life’s moments. It started as fun projects with friends—recording trips to local parks and trails—and quickly evolved into a deeper love for creating. From spontaneous adventures to Chicago and lake house getaways to cross-country road trips, every experience has shaped my creative perspective. Investing in a DSLR camera and diving into media studies courses in college helped me refine my craft. These classes introduced me to filmmaking, sound design, visual effects, and storytelling techniques that expanded my creative vision.
At Forward Madison FC, I’ve had the opportunity to create dynamic content like game highlights, behind-the-scenes features, and community-focused stories that bring fans closer to the team. Whether it’s crafting social media campaigns, producing hype reels for match days, or developing player profiles, I’ve learned how powerful media can be in fostering connections.
Slowly but surely I have begun to build an arsenal of camera equipment in order to follow the passion I have to create content. I have a professional experience in Adobe Creative Cloud as this is the one stop shop for all of the needs for a content creator.
